Who is coming to Booster Days In Weyerhaeuser? Come and support two life members of the post, Monte Klund and his daughter Crystal Galloway.

They will be at the craft fair Saturday, September 5th from 11-4. Get a signed copy of the book “The Legends Among Us - Monte Klund Sr.” The book is based on Monte’s journey from childhood to joining the Marine Corp and his journey in the Vietnam Conflict.

VFW Post 5780 Weyerhaeuser will conduct Memorial Day Services at area cemeteries on Sunday May 24th at following times:

ABVM Strickland 9:00 am
Bass Lake 9:15 am
Old Catholic 9:30 am
Catholic 10:30 am
Village 11:00 am

Please take time to attend a cemetery of your choice.

There will be a Free Will offering lunch and refreshments at 12 noon at the Weyerhaeuser Community Center (formally the VFW hall).

Come celebrate our 80th birthday and enjoy some camaraderie on this solemn day.

Sunday March 29th is Vietnam Veterans Day. Take pause in your day and thank all that served our country when called upon in southeast Asia and in supporting roles in the air, on the ground, and on the seas throughout the world during that era. Never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Bless those who carry the scars of war. Remember all who have passed since returning home.

Find a Vietnam Veteran in your neighborhood and simply say "Welcome Home "!

Wreaths Across America scheduled for Saturday 13 December have been canceled due to forecast of dangerous wind chills. Volunteers are out today at area cemeteries placing wreaths on the graves of Veterans and thanking them for their service and sacrifices. Thank you to all the volunteers!
