As a reminder, the schedule is below for the 2027 BMP Travel Baseball Tryouts.

HOWEVER, in the case of weather and/or conditions that would hinder plans, please check your email and social media for updates.

SPECIFICALLY, FOR TOMORROW: we are currently assessing the fields and there may be a change in the schedule. We will send another email later tonight to update everyone on the status.

2027 BMP TRAVEL BASEBALL TRYOUT SCHEDULE

12U: 9:00 AM
11U: 11:30 AM
Sunday, August 30 (Deadline to register is 8/26)

10U: 9:00 AM
9U: 11:30 AM
8U: 2:00 PM
Sunday, September 27 (Deadline to register is 9/23)

7U: 10:00 AM
All tryouts will be held at the Upper and Lower Wh**ey Soergel Fields.

The April 30 age cutoff remains in effect for all age groups. For example, if your child turns 8 years old on or before April 30, 2027, they are considered an 8U player. Please remember that players should attend tryouts for the age division they will compete in next summer, not the age group they played this past season.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete registration. Your child should NOT wear any BMP hats or jerseys to tryouts.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for our 12U softball’s final tournament with bracket play canceled and the summer season officially came to an end…

The ladies finished the season 6–6, but that record doesn’t tell the whole story…

Five of our six losses came down to the final inning and this team battled right to the end in just about every game they played!

And this was a young 12U team who regularly faced older and more experienced teams, but these girls showed all summer that they could compete with anyone 💥💥💥

There were plenty of great plays, big hits, tough innings, close games, and memorable moments along the way; they played hard, picked each other up, had fun and continued to get better throughout the summer!

Ladies: be very proud of the way you played, competed and represented BMP 💛💚💛💚

Players can register through the BMP website once logged in to their account.

Giving a HUGE shoutout and congratulations to our 10U softball girls who went on an amazing run this past week!

They won their final 5 games to win the Championship at the Shaler Back to School Tournament!!!

In elimination play, they beat South Fayette 3-2, North Hills in extra innings, and finished with a 6-1 win over McCandless in the Championship 💥💥💥

So proud of this squad; WTG, ladies!!!!
