Thank you brothers and sisters for your help in supporting the work going on in Uganda, India and Pakistan! You are showing the love that Jesus has for these people in your giving!

Right now Mayamba has made me aware of a little girls named Marcy who is an orphan in Mayambas care in Uganda. She is dealing with cancer. They don’t know what has been causing the significant health problems in the children of this family. Marcy’s sister, Joy, has needed a number of surgeries that we have helped with to address a number of health issues. Their brother that was 12 just died of cancer that wasn’t identified in time to fund to address it. The Interfaith Children’s Home needs $2620 for Marcy’s surgery to remove the tumor. $485 has been donated by the local church. This leave $2140 that they still need for Marcy to receive the necessary surgery to remove and treat the tumors she has growing in her. Anything you contribute will be forwarded directly to Interfaith for her care. Your prayers for her are also really needed!

Thank You to the one who donated specifically for the replacement mattresses and bedding for the girls at the Interfaith Children's Home in Uganda! You have blessed these girls greatly! I sent an email with the picture to the one who donated the full amount as it names them specifically!

I mentioned in the last post that we would be posting about activity and needs in Pakistans and Uganda. Mayamba is the director of the Interfaith children’s home in Kampala Uganda. STMM was able to send him the funds to put electricity in the house for the children. Thank you for making that happen! I have posted the pics, video and thanks from Mayamba for the electric and hookup!
Mayamba has posted a request on his page asking for $1920 to replace items destroyed in the fire. The church paid for the building repairs and rebuild. STMM paid for electrical. Anything that you could provide to help with this need would be appreciated! It is to replace mattresses and bedding as well as toiletries and clothing. I haven’t asked Mayamba about it but part of that need is probably also to replace the reusable sanitary items for the girls that we provided and they received at the end of March. Ministry partners we at Seize the Moment Ministries want to thank you for your continued prayers and support of the people and work going on in India, Uganda and Pakistan. You have been making a difference! We wanted to make you aware of current activity and needs happening in Pakistan’s and Uganda.

In the city of Sail Pakistan pastor Tariq is working with the family of a boy named Isaac. He had a bad ear infection that perforated his ear drum. They are t sure what caused the infection but he is in the hospital and has been diagnosed as having jaundice and typhoid. They are going to need to send samples to Karachi to see if he has anything else. He’s been in a real bad way with fever and pain and I believe he has been trowing up. STMM has sent funds to cover current costs but the bills continue to accumulate. Please pray for his healing and health. Pray for wisdom of those treating him that it can be successful treated! Also if you would care to donate or feel the leading of God to give towards his medical expenses it would be greatly appreciated! I will post a picture of Isaac when he was initially being seen in the hospital for the ear infection and perforated ear drum. He was admitted a number of days later and was diagnosed with Jaundice and typhoid.

Hurray! Electricity and lights vs candles that start fires and impact lives!

The Interfaith Children’s home now has electricity and no longer needs to use candles to light their home. The candles started a fire destroying the girls rooms at the children’s home. Thanks for the support. Please pray that the children would emotionally recover from the impact of this fire.

Thank you for sharing funds with us so that we could cover the cost of adding electricity to the Interfaith Children’s Hime in Uganda! The work has been done so they will no longer need candles to light the home at night significantly reducing the risk of another fire.
