This morning was another great time of service. We spent about three hours helping a senior citizen clear out trees and underbrush that we’re getting too close to the house. In addition, we fought a battle with a yellow jacket nest, and ultimately won! Great times for all, except for David T, who got stung.

Late last week, Mark and I traveled to Mountain brook to pick up a donated Curtis Hydraulic Vehicle plow. We have it listed on facebook now in hopes of finding some interested in buying it. All proceeds will go to supporting those in need.

Yesterday, Central Alabama Disaster Relief participated in First Methodist Wetumpka’s annual Touch a Truck Event where kids from all over come to see and sit in a number of cool vehicles. It was a great time for all. I am hoping we got a couple new members as well!!
