Scary good dance moves! Our clients were showing off during our annual Halloween parade! 🎃

Such a fun day every year highlighted by great costumes, big smiles, and lots of dancing!

🍦 A sweet day of giving back! 💙

This morning we were invited to Archbishop Damiano School for their Trunk or Treat event! Our Mobile Food Pantry got into the Halloween spirit as the “I Scream” truck, and our clients from the Fulfillment Center and House of John had a blast handing out treats to students across the street.

Together, we put together over 100 goodie bags to make Halloween a little sweeter for our friends at ADS!

We are loving all the incredible costumes this year from our clients as they marched down our halls for our Halloween Parade! Also a big thank you to Archbishop Damiano School for inviting us to their Trunk or Treat today, where we brought our Mobile Food Pantry dressed up as the 'I Scream' truck 🍦 alongside our clients to give out treats to the students across the street. 📸 Photos last week of our Prosper Fulfillment Center clients for their Japanese themed Pastoral Care week! Just like our House of John, they all loved getting in theme for a fun photo booth and they even got to take home a little Zen garden too!

This Pastoral Care Week, we embraced the national theme of "Kintsugi Heart". Inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery to make it even more beautiful, we celebrated the beauty of healing and grace with a special prayer service and a Japanese themed Mission in Motion day for our clients!

Our clients enjoyed tea and sweets at a Japanese Tea Ceremony, took photos at our Japanese Garden photo booth, and created their own sensory Zen gardens. Most importantly, our coworkers came together to share meaningful moments with the individuals at the heart of everything we do.

As Karen reminds us, sometimes the most important thing we can offer is simply our presence. 💙 This has been a wonderful Pastoral Care Week!

There's strength in our struggles and beauty in our healing! 💙

That is our Pastoral Care Week theme of “Kintsugi Heart". Today, our clients and staff gathered for a special Pastoral Connections prayer service in our chapel.

Tommy, John, and Herbie did a wonderful job sharing their readings and prayers with the rest of the clients! Brother John also reflected on the meaning of the Kintsugi Heart and how it reminds us that, even when life leaves us with cracks along the way, we can find strength, grow through our challenges, and continue moving forward together.

A special thanks to our Employment specialist John for performing music once again!

🍵 Welcome to the Zen Den! 💙

While we celebrate Pastoral Care Week, our House of John clients enjoyed a special Japanese Tea Ceremony inspired by this year’s national Pastoral Care theme, “Kintsugi Heart.” The theme celebrates healing, connection, and the beauty of caring for one another.

Our clients had the chance to relax, sip a cup of tea, and capture some fun moments at our Japanese photo booth!

Enjoy these photos of our House of John clients all dressed up, celebrating Pastoral Care Week! We have many many more smiles coming from our Fulfillment Center clients who also participated!
