Thank you Natural Lands, all the funders, the citizens of Westtown, and all the amazing volunteers who never gave up. Crebilly is SAVED!
(Please consider becoming a member of Natural Lands. Their staff donated thousands of hours of time over the past three years to make this conservation success happen for us all. www.natlands.org/join)
We are pinching ourselves! After three years of working to create relationships, raise funds, and negotiate details, Crebilly Farm in Westtown Township, Chester County, is saved. All 308 acres. Forever.
Our thanks to all the Robinson family, many grassroots volunteers who worked tirelessly for years prior, the 750+ housholds that donated, the residents of Westtown Township who voted for the Open Space Fund, and our funders: Chester County Government, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Open Space Institute, Mt. Cuba Center, and the Marshall-Reynolds Foundation, and anonymous donors.
And, of course, Natural Lands members, whose support enables our staff to stick with years-long projects like this one. Please consider becoming a member at any dollar amount at natlands.org/join.
