Thanksgiving Food Drive – Urgent Need

While our annual Share the Warmth Coat Drive continues through November 30, we’ve been notified that Bridgeport Rescue Mission is in urgent need of food for their Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Westport Firefighters have stepped up once again — and we’re asking our community to join us in helping fulfill their mission.
Please donate non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation payable to the Westport Uniformed Firefighters Charitable Foundation.

100% of all monetary donations will be used to purchase turkeys.
Drop-off boxes are located at Fire Headquarters (515 Post Road East) and Town Hall (110 Myrtle Avenue) through November 19.

Lieutenant Rob Lenois, President of the Westport Firefighters Charitable Foundation, shared:

“No family should have to worry about whether they’ll have a Thanksgiving meal. Our firefighters are proud to help meet this urgent need and ensure that everyone can sit down to a warm meal this holiday season.”

Good evening everyone.

So we now have confirmed dates for the 2025 Santa Run.........!! And we have added two extra nights....!!!

Wednesday December 3rd
Thursday December 4th
Friday December 5th
Saturday December 6th

Wednesday December 10th
Thursday December 11th
Friday December 12th
Saturday December 13th

As usual, we will have Santa on the road each evening between 5pm and 9pm.

More information to follow, including a complete explanation of what the Santa Run is and how to participate, for our new families.

We acknowledge with appreciation the donations supporting Asheville's hurricane relief initiative. A trailer carrying vital community supplies arrived yesterday with our team. Unless you see it in person, it is hard to fully grasp the devastation's magnitude. The character of those rendering aid in this region is truly commendable.
