Singles Under Sail Inc. Singles Under Sail is a sailing club for adults
who are also single. We sail Long Island Sound, day, twilight and weekends. And host speakers and socials.

The founding vision for the Singles Under Sail (SUS) club was to get single boat owners and crew members together for the purpose of going sailing. Today, SUS continues to hold regular meetings for that purpose and invites all skippers and crew members, power or sail, seasoned or beginner, to attend those meetings. Since we're a Connecticut club, all of our meetings are in southwestern Connecticut but we have no residency restrictions and the home ports of our boats range from the Housatonic River to the Hudson while our sailing events take us to many places in Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Members’ experience levels are from novice to “blue water” and we have a strong emphasis on formal and informal learning when it comes to safety & seamanship.

Whether you're a longtime Singles Under Sail member or simply curious about what we're all about, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet fellow adventurers, and welcome prospective new members.
Singles Under Sail is a Connecticut-based sailing and social club that brings together people who enjoy being on the water, making new friends, and sharing adventures. One of the things SUS is best known for is helping newcomers learn. No sailing experience is required. Members are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and develop their sailing skills at their own pace, with experienced sailors always willing to share their knowledge and lend a hand.
Come enjoy a drink, learn more about the club, hear about upcoming activities, and discover why so many members have found both friendships and confidence on the water through Singles Under Sail.
And if you're having a good time, feel free to stay for dinner afterward.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones!
⚓ New members and guests are always welcome.
