Tomorrow, June 7, is Opening Day for the exhibit. We'll be open 1:00-400 PM. Stop in to see the stories, pictures and artifacts we've collected to tell the tale of the Farm Home of Yesteryear!

Quick reminder that Tuesday, May 19 from 6-7 PM is the last scanning date for pictures related to the upcoming exhibit. Of course if you can scan your picture, you can email it to the photo contact for the exhibit [email protected].

This Wednesday May 6, from 6-8 PM is another scan date. If you have a photo relevant to the exhibit,, you can bring it to the museum and we'll scan it. One thing we'd like to see for sure are pictures of families outside of farm houses. Of course if you can scan it, you can email it to the photo contact for the exhibit [email protected].

And here's a reminder of other items we're looking for...the contact for physical items is [email protected]. Contact by May 17 with ideas of physical items you can loan for the exhibit. Items are needed by May 31.

This Sunday (11AM - 1 PM) is another scanning day. That means if you have a photo relevant to the exhibit, but you are unable to scan it to give us a copy, you can bring it in to the museum and we'll do it. You'll go home with your original. One thing we'd like to see for sure are pictures of families outside of farm houses. Of course if you can scan it, you can email it to the contact for the exhibit [email protected].

If you're in town for the Westphalia area garage sales this Friday or just in town, stop in to PFCU for our annual bake sale. PFCU opens at 9 am. We'll be there until the bake goodies sell out. Lots of great local home made items to choose from.

Just a reminder....if you have a photo for the upcoming exhibit and need help scanning, the first of four scanning days is tomorrow, April 11. We're looking for pre-1960 farm home related pictures, including those of family outside of the farm house (common thing before flash photography).

It's spring, which means we're stocking up for our exhibit, The Farm Home of Yesteryear (Pre-1960). Check out the link to a full list of topics and points of contact in the link below - - we're looking for memories and information you'd like to share, as well as photos and items that we could borrow.

In the coming days/weeks we'll highlight topics of focus to make the third year of the Our Farming Heritage exhibit great.

Just a reminder that we're open tonight, Wednesday, April 1st from 5:00 to 8 PM. We still have six of the fourteen stations of the cross from the old church on display.

We had our last meeting of the year (and Christmas party) last night. Part of our discussion was how fun the Light Parade and Tree Lighting was! Thanks to all who entered a float, had an activity going on, our tree lighters!
