As Mother’s Day comes to a close, we honor Mothers of all kind. As painful as some of these days can be, I reflect on the depth of love mothers exude. How incredible, that as mothers and those longing to be mothers have this intense love to pour into others, especially their children. A superpower really.

Thank God for these opportunities to love, for He has shown us the greatest sacrifice of love. Thank you Mary, for showing us the ultimate example of selfless motherhood. May we embody your grace, willingness to serve, and patience.

May you have a blessed week ahead💛

If you feel a looming dread of Mother’s Day coming up, we would love to support you💛

To the Moon and Back Ministry support group meeting will be held on May 6th at 6:00 PM in the parish office basement. (Door is at the back of the office with a sign). This ministry has been formed to offer Christ-centered support to parents. Anyone who has experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infant death, infertility or failed adoption is welcome to attend. The meetings are open to all members of our parish and surrounding communities.

Please feel free reach out to someone that could be struggling that may benefit from attending, but be sensitive to their response, as they may not be ready to attend a group setting. Both Women & Men welcome, as these experiences are not unique to just women. Any questions don’t hesitate to message this account.

Bereaved Mother’s Day.

Kind of a Remembrance Day most people don’t choose and/or want to be apart of. With Mother’s Day impending, “celebrating” might not feel like a day worth celebrating. And if you’re finding yourself secretly dreading Mother’s Day, we will be hosting a meeting this upcoming Wednesday May 6th @ 6pm. Here to support and listen to wherever your heart is, you don’t have to carry the weight alone. Please consider joining us, and feel free to reach out with any questions💛

Sunday is here. The wait, the promise, the fulfillment. Gods timing is always right, right?

Every Easter season and the days leading up, I find myself drawing particularly close to Mary. Not even the Mother of Jesus, could be spared from suffering.. who am I to think I’m exempt? Mary had to put her utmost complete trust in God. That she would bear a son, that she would learn from Him, that she would have to watch Him suffer for you & me, that He would be raised.

Whatever season of life you’re in, please know your suffering isn’t in vain. Your sufferings do not define you, nor will they sting forever. God is constant, steady in every season. So if you’re finding yourself in the agony of Good Friday, Sundays coming. Hope is coming. Sunday is here. May your Easter be filled with hopeful anticipation of new seasons of your life. Gods got you.

“God is with us”… And He’s with you. If you’re in the wait, your joy will come we know it’s harder this time of year. Mary and Joseph had to put their utter trust in Gods plan, and their reward was far greater than they could’ve ever imagined.
