Actor and television personality Franklin Virgüez is inviting the community to join us for the first-ever Tarde Literaria Book Fair presented by Americas Community Center in partnership with Weston Town Center.

Known for his long career in television, theater, and entertainment across Latin America, Franklin will be joining us alongside his wife, children’s book author Haydée Virginia Añez, who will also be part of the fair sharing her work with families and young readers.

Join us on Saturday, May 16th from 4–7 PM at Weston Town Center for an afternoon celebrating books, local authors, culture, and community. Meet writers from across South Florida, enjoy our Kids Corner, and discover stories for all ages.

Meet Aksh*tha Thoppae, a 9th grader at Cypress Bay High School, and the young author behind the sci-fi novel Blood Flows Between — a story that dives into imagination, mystery, and futuristic storytelling beyond her years.

We’re proud to have Aksh*tha as part of our Weston Book Fair on May 16th, where our community comes together to celebrate local talent of all ages 💛

First Saturday of the month = Karaoke Night with Americas 🎤✨

What a night at Wings! From timeless classics to crowd favorites, every generation showed up and showed out. The highlight? Our kids took the stage and absolutely stole the show with the Aserejé dance
