Hello all,
We hope you are all having a great weekend, but have to be the bearers of bad news. It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of this years Wausaubicon 2019, due to a variety of personal reasons for our staff we were unable to give the convention our 100% thus depriving you as attendees the awesome convention you deserve. It is also with great sadness we say goodbye to Anna, one of our long time staff members and formerly co head of the convention, we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors! With the cancellation of 2019, we do not know where we will be going in 2020 but hope it will happen without the hang ups that prevented us this year.
Thank you all for your support and care at this time, we will (hopefully) see you in 2020!

It's with heavy hearts that we say good bye to one of the staples in all things Sci-Fi. May you rest in peace Stan Lee, many of our childhoods were spent reading or watching the shows you had created. The Marvel universe lost it's greatest star today.

Going to Kitsune Kon this weekend? We will be there on Saturday stop by and check us out! Also mark you Calendars for June 1st 2019! Because for some reason we have deiced to be crazy enough to do this again!

The staff and management of WausaubiCon and Central Wisconsin Anime Inc. would like to to thank everyone that came out to see and visit us at the Merrill Enrichment Center in Merrill this weekend, our wonderful artists, dealers, and the Ambassadors from LincCon - Game Convention and the Chippewa Valley Anime Con that came out and showed their talents and wares. We also want to thank Terry Stevens (Scary Terry and son) and Rock 94.7 for spending the day with us. A big THANK YOU goes out to our video Super Volunteers, the Video Game Department from Kitsunekon. A great bunch of folks from another great Convention located over in Green Bay. (Btw, their convention is next month at the KI CENTER). And one last big thank you goes out to the Merrill Enrichment Center and the City of Merrill for welcoming us to their area. Oh. I forgot the biggest thank you goes out to YOU, THE ATTENDEES! Without you, there would be no WausaubiCon or any other conventions. Thank you all.
