In partnership with Principal D’Amico, the WIS PTO invites parents and guardians to our new Coffee & Connection Series—informal gatherings designed to bring our community together for meaningful conversation.

Each session will feature a dedicated topic for discussion, with an opportunity to connect, share perspectives, ask questions, and hear from one another.

The halls are about to be filled with smiling faces, excited stories, and plenty of Wolf Pack spirit—and we couldn't be more excited to welcome everyone back!

Whether you're returning for another great year or joining WIS for the very first time, we're so glad you're part of our Pack.

The WIS PTO is looking forward to a year of building community, supporting our incredible teachers and staff, creating memorable experiences for our students, and bringing families together.

☀️🍕 A beautiful day for lunch outside!

Today, the WIS PTO treated our amazing teachers and staff to a delicious lunch from the Big Green Truck! Everyone enjoyed fresh salad, wood-fired pizza, gelato, and espresso while soaking up the sunshine and spending some well-deserved time together. 🍕🥗🍨☕️

We were even joined by our WPS School Resource Officers, who stopped by to enjoy the food and great company!

We’re so happy to kick off the school year by showing our appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff who do so much for our students. 💙💛

Today, the WIS PTO was excited to welcome our amazing teachers and staff back to school with coffee and bagels to help fuel a busy day of setting up classrooms and getting everything ready for our students! 📚✏️

A big thank you to our Staff Appreciation Chair, Edith Ratinov, for helping make this warm welcome possible. We’re so grateful for all the time, care, and energy our WIS staff puts into making our school such a special place for our kids.

🐺 Help Make This School Year Special—Become a WIS Room Parent! 💙💛

Looking for a meaningful way to support your child's classroom? We're looking for Room Parent volunteers for the upcoming school year!

Room Parents are the connection between the classroom, families, and the PTO. They help create a positive classroom experience by supporting teachers, coordinating volunteers, and keeping parents informed. It's a rewarding way to get to know your child's teacher, connect with other families, and make a lasting impact on our WIS community.

Room Parent responsibilities include:
📋 Creating and maintaining the class contact list
📣 Communicating with the teacher about classroom needs, wish lists, volunteers, field trips, and celebrations
🙋 Recruiting volunteers to support PTO events and fundraisers
🎁 Organizing class gifts for your teacher throughout the year
📸 Collecting classroom photos for the yearbook
