In a few weeks the WIAA will hold their 50th Girls State Basketball Tournament. Did you know that DC Everest played in the very first tournament in 1976? Ten years later, in 1986, Everest would win the Class A State Championship over Whitefish Bay. Here's a picture of the 1976 team led by Coach Carne Andrews.
