To our community,

First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for our recent absence. Many members of our board have been facing personal challenges that have impacted our capacity to organize events and remain as active as we strive to be. Additionally, in today’s sensitive political climate, there have been legitimate concerns about safety and potential backlash—especially for those among us who are more vulnerable. We are mindful of the risks and do not wish to put anyone in harm’s way.

That said, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advocating for justice and equality. We encourage everyone to continue showing up for human rights in whatever way feels safe and empowering for you. Peaceful protest is a powerful tool for change, and we urge those who feel called to participate to do so thoughtfully and cautiously.

For those concerned about privacy or potential professional repercussions, here are some precautions you can take:

1. Wear a mask to protect your identity and health.
2. Use a hat and sunglasses to reduce facial recognition.
3. Keep your phone on airplane mode, and avoid bringing personal identification.
4. Use secure messaging apps like Signal to communicate.
5. Refrain from posting identifiable photos of yourself or others at protests if anonymity is important.
6. Bring essential supplies such as basic first aid, snacks, and water.
7. Avoid confrontations—nonviolent demonstration is key to powerful advocacy.
8. Engage at all levels—local, state, and national.
9. Carry cash instead of using electronic payment methods near protest areas to minimize digital tracking.

Sorry we haven't posted in awhile. Some of our board members today walked to streets of Boston. We the people strive to be united and together. We the people fight for justice. Hand off! Our healthcare! Hands off! Our rights! Hands off our bodies!! And so much more but most importantly hands off our government. Be strong everyone. This is just the beginning.

I just wanted to take a moment, even though it's a day late, to remind everyone of the importance of supporting our trans brothers, sisters, and siblings. This day — and honestly, this entire month — should be dedicated to remembrance, reflection, and education. Trans individuals have always existed, and their identities are not a choice. You are exactly who you are meant to be, no matter the challenges life may present.

Today, we also honor the lives of trans individuals who are no longer with us, including those like Marsha P. Johnson, a fierce advocate for trans rights, Roxanne Ellis, who fought for trans inclusion in the workplace, and Brittney Griner, a young woman whose tragic passing left a hole in our hearts. We also remember the countless others who have faced violence and discrimination — their lives are not forgotten. Each life lost is a reminder of the work we must continue to do to create a world where everyone can live authentically and without fear.

We want to reaffirm that everyone deserves to live safely and authentically. Transgender individuals should not have to live in fear of discrimination or violence. We stand in solidarity with you and pledge to keep fighting for your rights, dignity, and equality.

We love each and every one of you so deeply. Please know that there is always a safe space for you here at our organization and on our little farm. Whether you need a listening ear, support in navigating life’s challenges, or just a place to breathe freely, we are here.

Your journey matters, and you are never alone. Please never hesitate to reach out if you need support or simply someone to talk to. Let’s continue to uplift each other, educate ourselves, and stand united for a future where love, acceptance, and respect are the standard for all.

While the advertised conclusion is 8pm, the event is anticipated to run until 10pm or later, subject to the evening's unfolding. The hard work and dedication of our board members have been instrumental in making this event possible, and we warmly invite you to attend in costume for an enjoyable evening. Please be aware that the event includes a costume contest and light refreshments, but attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages.
