💔 Urgent: Children in Gqeberha are stuck in abusive and neglected situations because we’re out of space.

Three weeks ago we reserved two precious spots for a child escaping abuse and another from severe neglect. We told social workers we’d have space from the 14th… but court proceedings were postponed, and those children are still waiting.

Since then, we’ve had to turn away calls for six more children — including one with burn wounds and four siblings who need to stay together.
We’ve been working so hard to secure land so no child falls through the cracks in our city. But our committed donor is no longer able to help due to challenges in Australia, and the door feels like it’s slipping closed.

We refuse to give up while children are suffering.
If you own a business, know a company with a heart for children, or have family/friends who want to make a real difference, please get in touch. We have flexible partnership options — from monthly support and sponsorships to one-off contributions toward the land and facilities. Received a call from a Social Worker needing to place three siblings in temporary safe care as there is nowhere else for them to go.

The law only permits us to have 6 children at a time. We're at capacity.
This means that these 3 will likely be left in their horrific situations until space becomes available.

We currently have another 2 children on the waiting list for the 2nd of April.

More land means more homes. More homes means not having to leave children in situations that are detrimental to them.
