Oh look, state orders no more sewer connections in Spring Hill!
Are you taking notes yet Westmoreland?
Our *new* sewage treatment plant is at capacity now. No more room here, either!
🚨 Spring Hill’s Moratorium Isn’t a Victory Lap — It’s a Wake-Up Call. 🚨
Let’s be clear: the state didn’t ask Spring Hill to stop issuing new sewer connections — they ordered it.
This isn't just a Spring Hill issue. It’s a Middle Tennessee problem. Infrastructure is buckling under the weight of unchecked growth.
If we’re serious about preserving quality of life, protecting taxpayers, and planning for our future — we need bold leadership. We need to stop celebrating band-aids and start demanding long-term solutions.
Maury County’s future depends on vision, people, and action.
✅ Vision – We must have a plan — not just for today, but for the next 5, 10, 15+ years. Our growth should be intentional, not accidental. That means a comprehensive vision for land use, infrastructure, education, and economic development — shaped by the people who call Maury County home.
✅ People – Maury County doesn’t belong to developers, lobbyists, or special interests. It belongs to you — the people. That’s why I believe in transparency, accessibility, and listening first. We work for the people, not the other way around.
✅ Action – Vision and ideas are meaningless without follow-through. We need bold, decisive leadership that isn’t afraid to act. That means standing up for our community, making the tough calls, and doing the work. No more kicking the can down the road. The time is now.
Let’s stop pretending this is fine. It’s not.
