To Love, Learn & Heal - TLLH

To Love, Learn & Heal - TLLH TLLH aims at improving the poor conditions of children in third world countries.

Each part of the organization’s name provides one of the three purposes of the organization. Love is to help the wealthy of the countries understand that poverty is just a concept society has created, humankind can help eliminate it by seeing those less fortunate than us and assisting in any way we can. Learn is to help alleviate illiteracy and promote children’s education worldwide. Lastly, heal

is to help in bringing medical attention to those who cannot afford it, reach it, or do not know about it because most of the world’s dangerous diseases are prevalent in areas with poverty.

"What do I love? My dog. His name is Rocky and I play with him everyday. What do I hate? The long road to school. Every day I have to walk for an hour before I get there, and an hour to come back home. I am always tired.” Qusai, 9, from Gaza. Via Unicef State of Palestine

Zahara is nine years old and lives in rural Ethiopia. She went to school until third grade but quit two years ago when her family moved, and now spends most of her days doing household chores. Zahara is not sure if she will ever go back to school but says she will make sure her children go through school when she starts her own family.

We hope she returns to school one day. Every child has the right to learn!
