Thank you to our AC-REP investors for making Building What’s Next: Northwest Region Bus Tour an engaging and informative look at the growth shaping Adams County. Your support, insights, and participation made the day a success!

We traveled from Westminster’s latest development spots around St. Anthony North Hospital through some of Thornton’s newest industrial, retail and residential developments to the Anythink Nature Library. After an engaging tour, we continued through Adams County Riverdale Park to Brighton to see all the growth and job creators that made them the 2026 Top Medium-Sized Community for Economic Growth in Colorado!

Transportation improvements were highlighted along the way including new interchanges on E470, multimodal options like E-Bikes, N-Line station planning, a new Bustang stop at I-25 and Hwy. 7 where we’ll also have a Boulder to Brighton BRT coming in May 2027.

☀️ A major energy investment is taking shape in Adams County!

We’re pleased to welcome the company behind it, Lightsource bp , to the AC-REP investor community.

Lightsource bp develops and operates large-scale renewable energy and battery storage projects, including the Big Bronco Solar and Storage Project, that was recently approved for development by the Adams County Commission. The project represents an estimated $675 million in private investment, with 375 MWdc of solar capacity and 300 MW of planned energy storage.

We’re pleased to have Lightsource bp at the table and look forward to the perspective they bring as our region continues conversations around energy, infrastructure and economic growth.

⚡ Member Spotlight: Front Range Community College is helping build the workforce for what’s next.

Congratulations to AC-REP investor Front Range Community College on receiving a grant to launch Colorado’s first community college laser welding training. The investment will bring advanced laser welding and robotics equipment to FRCC’s Larimer Campus, helping students develop skills increasingly sought by Colorado’s aerospace, medical device, electronics and advanced manufacturing employers.

This is workforce development and economic development in action, education responding directly to industry needs, expanding career pathways and helping Colorado employers access the skilled talent they need to grow.
