Thank you, Westlake Middle School, Broomfield, CO; Teacher: Sheryl Skattum for collecting school supplies for the orphans in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya who fled from South Sudan that we were able to deliver this last summer. They were thrilled!

It is the children and the women who suffer the most in war. Please pray for these little ones in Kakuma Refugee Camp where the situation is already dire and is becoming more so with the violence in North Sudan. Our new website link: hohsouthsudan.org We continue to raise funds to take orphans out of the refugee camp to be educated and properly cared for. Thank you!

Akeer (wants to be a doctor) shown in Kakuma Refugee camp 2021 (Lt) & now 2022 (Rt) after our nonprofit took her out and placed her in a home -providing food, family & education. Our family has been involved with the 'Lost Boys of S. Sudan' (that fled the genocide in 1980's) for over 17 years & are now focusing on rescuing as many orphans (to date 8!) out of Kakuma & supporting them. It costs $2,000/year per child - would you consider a donation for my Dec 18 birthday? Click on the website: handsofhopeforsouthsudan.org & the right corner click 'donate.' I traveled this summer & loved on them, then went into the refugee camp to give encouragement in a very dire situation of little food, shelter & hope; it was very humbling and heartbreaking, yet they maintain great faith in Christ, as do I! May God bless you & keep you - Thank you!
