Congratulations to all the racers in Pack 969's Pinewood Derby! We appreciate your patience through our technical difficulties - thankfully we were able to get the races up and running and we officially have new champions! Our top 5 winners for speed and top 5 for design will move on to the district competition in April - be sure to wish them luck as they go make Pack 969 proud!

This weekend, our Arrow of Light Scouts connected with Scouts from all over the world through the annual Jamboree on the Internet. At our last count, they had connected with Scouts from 27 different countries on 6 continents! Through their chats they learned about the interests of Scouts around the world, differences in the Scouting program in other countries, and even learned some new recipes! They even earned a cool badge in the process!

Come join us tonight at Lukas Elementary at 6:30 to find out how your scout can earn his or her dues for the whole next year, a free camp next summer, a college scholarship, and lots of cool prizes! That's right - it's our popcorn kickoff!!! We will also be handing out rocket kits for our upcoming rocket launch. We can't wait to meet all of our new scouts and see the familiar faces joining us for another great year. See you all tonight!

Family Camp 2018 is in the books! We had an amazing time - we hiked, played, cooked, sang songs, and just had fun. It's always fun to get to spend time together as a Pack, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting! Thanks to everyone who came and helped out - Pack 969 is filled with special families, indeed!

Getting caught up on pictures...May was a busy month for our Pack! The Webelos I den celebrated the end of the scouting year with a campout at Standley Lake. It was chilly and rainy, but the scouts did a great job preparing meals for the group, cleaning up, helping with the campfire, and practicing their Leave No Trace principals. They even planned an interfaith service and performed it for the families in the morning as part of their Duty to God and You adventure. Great job, Webelos!
