Who We Are:
We are the teachers' association in the Adams 12 Five Star School District, an affiliate of the Colorado and Nation Education Associations. We are the exclusive representative of all teachers in the district, and have about 1,750 members. We believe in working collaboratively to ensure our students are career and workforce ready when they graduate from our district's high schools, pre
pared with 21st century skills for a successful transition into the global economy and society. We believe we must all share the responsibility for our students' success. Teachers and support staff must teach and motivate every student. parents and families should instill values of respect, responsibility, and love for learning. Students should come to school ready to learn. Elected officials should give our schools the resources they need to provide a state-of-the-art education for every student. Adams 12 is a public school district located in the suburban area immediately north of Denver, Colorado. Adams 12 serves nearly 43,000 students in the five communities of Broomfield, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, and unincorporated Adams County. Our Core Values:
