What’s up, pudding cup? Meet Snack Pack! This 5-month old sweet treat came to us from our friends at Mansfield Animal Shelter after being found as a stray, and he is proof that happiness jiggles! Our sweet Snack Pack is always stirring up some fun like a typical wiggly puppy and is pudding the fun in dessert time! He is a real social butterfly who loves saying hello to anyone and everyone on his daily urban walks and instantly made some neighborhood friends at his foster home. Snack Pack is snack sized! This little one is the size of a snack cup at a petite 33 lbs, though he still has some growing to do, and is the sweet and creamy classic everyone loves (and who loves everyone in return!). He has adjusted to city living in record time! He walks well on leash, consistently checking in for treats, is like a Walmart greeter on a Saturday with all humans and dogs, and is mesmerized with watching the kids play on the playground. That makes sense! He loves, loves, loves toys and may be a tad obsessed with the toy bin. Our Snack Pack is the perfect brindle blend of dark fudge, milk chocolate, butterscotch swirl, and a dollop of vanilla. His coat is super rich and creamy with a velvety texture and sweet flavor that only a bully can deliver. This morsel of silky-smooth deliciousness is a genuinely happy pup who has slept through the night in his foster home from day one. And as a true cuddle bug, is ready to spoon into happiness with a lucky family. He is pudding the ‘sweet’ in ‘sweetheart’ and is just a good puppy ready for a second chance at happiness. And now Snack Pack needs a Family Pack all his own. He is the smooth and creamy snack you know and love and will satisfy your cravings for classic flavors for all of his days. Meet Malibu Ken! This 4-year old dashingly gorgeous dreamboat came to us when his owner could no longer care for him, and he is a DOLL! Uhhh, let’s get something out of the way…Ken is easy on the eyes. A stunning knockout if you will; but his heart is even more tender. This man is one-of-a-kind – dare I say, one-of-a-Ken? And is waiting for a family and a DreamHouse all his own! This vibrant piece of delicious arm candy isn’t just another pretty face. Kenny knows many commands, is connected and intuitive with his people, and is super eager to please. He loves snacks (and they never go to his thighs!) so training is a breeze. He endearingly searches for a hand to hold throughout the day…all day every day and is content to be touching you at all times. Ken loves people and is a happy, social guy. He rolls over for belly rubs, and like an iconic boy toy, offers his t**h for petting. He was beloved at the shelter and a staff, vet, and volunteer favorite. We can see why…he is SOOOO special. While our Ken doesn’t have a deep tan, molded blue eyes, or painted blond hair, this handsome man does have the most amazing single black ear, speckled coat, and a beach-centric persona – perfectly laid back and gentle to match any surf culture. He exudes a relaxed beach vibe and would gladly hang with his gang on the beach for hours of sun and fun (with sunscreen of course!) but be equally happy chillaxing by the infinity pool, where he might splash around if given the chance. And those deep olive eyes with the perfectly asymmetrical guyliner…be still my heart! Ken is a sunsational Malibu-inspired treasure and is ready to revamp his life—mind, body, and soul. He has been given a major glow up in his foster home and is relaxed after sleeping off the last several months of uncertainty. And while he has some, ahem, “Ken-ergy,” really, he is just a go-with-the-flow kind of pup who is content to simply be close like a stereotypical bully. And now? Malibu Ken is ready to swap the sunny shores and oceanfront panoramic views for a spot in a family all his own. Daddy Long Legs, Now Tater, Goes Home! This incredibly docile soul came to us from a selfless owner who was making sure he could be his best self away from city living. Tater was originally part of a massive hoarding case two years ago that spanned MA – NH where 80 boxers were seized and adopted out among several organizations. These boxers had not been socialized or seen the light of day and were very fearful of the outside world. But Tater is not his past, and we are happy to report he is thriving in his quiet forever home in the country. Here he is with pawrents George and Jennifer, 2-legged sister Ellie, and boxer sister Scarlett, while 2-legged sister Cora waits patiently inside. This patient and loving family has a soft spot for those who need it the most and fell in love with Tater without even seeing his picture. He acclimated quickly to their home, where he spends his days surrounded by love and snuggles. It already feels like he has been there for much longer than he has. We truly feel like this match was meant to be and are beyond excited for Tater to continue living his best life! Thank you to Unmistaken Stars Farm Sanctuary, Dog Training & Behavior Consulting for their guidance with this sweet soul, to Tender Heart Veterinary Care for taking such good care of Tater, and to our supporters who helped fund his dental procedure earlier this month. Happy life little man and congratulations to all!

Meet Tootsie Roll! This 5-year old English Mastiff Mix is a loyal and devoted gentle giant who came to us after her owner could no longer care for her and is ready to bond hard with her people. Her fun-loving personality is chewy-yet-soft…Tootsie-Pootsie is just a super sweet gal who loves affection and attention and isn’t afraid to show it! With the most loving demeanor around, she will stare into your soul with her incredibly human-like eyes and instantly melt your heart. She is known to sit in front of you and lean allllll her weight into your legs as her version of a hug and sometimes forgets she isn’t lap sized. She will lovingly follow you everywhere, even the bathroom, and will proudly show her love every chance she gets! At a whopping 100 lbs, Tootsie is just a tad bigger than a candy treat. Majestic and big-boned? Yes! But a mellow gal at heart who has mastered couch napping as if it’s an Olympic sport. And though she appreciates being outside and romping around, committing to short spurts or leisurely strolls is more her speed. Sure…Toots lives in a bigger body but is scared of an ironing board on its side and can easily be contained in a room by putting one down to block off a door opening. She absolutely loves car rides, belly rubs, toys, gobbling up treats, and sniffing to her hearts content inside and outside! She is uber housetrained and has been trained to p**p in the woods like a lady. Oh, and you must enthusiastically love slobber, because with those jowls, it’s naturally expected. Tootsy-Wootsy has a classically beautiful chocolate-colored brindle coat, and one adorable and iconic snaggletooth constantly protruding from her adorable underbite. She currently lives with a 25 lb mini doodle and is really appropriate with playtime and snuggle time despite their obvious size discrepancy (cats unknown). July 4th...the after party. ADOPTABLE BAM BAM and MR. WONDERFUL are spent from a vast array of frozen kongs with the ever-so-faint sounds of fireworks in the distance. We were lucky to have a fairly quiet night in, but these two are still hungover from the heat and snacks, and are dreading going back to work tomorrow. Same, guys. Same.

Happy Fourth of July! ADOPTABLE MR. WONDERFUL is too cool for British rule, and if we’re honest, is just here for the BBQ. This sweet senior is red, white, and sparkly and lights up the sky with his charismatic bully personality.

Remember that more dogs go missing this week than any other time of the year. Keep your pups contained more diligently than usual.
