We are a nonprofit organization Dedicated to Providing Original Video and other Online Content, Important Information, and Access to Resources Family Caregivers and their Care Partners. Our goal: To make each day a little easier and more rewarding for all.

Hi everyone. Scott Hileman here. No, Caregiving World is not gone... not even a little bit. We had to, like with most businesses -- for profit or nonprofit -- make a twist and a turn to make the most of opportunities that can bring much needed resources to help better serve those special people for whom we were were founded. We're here, don't forget us... it takes a long time to taxi down the runway and you have to hit the right speed before ones wheels lift off the ground on the mission begins to take flight! It seems the cute scurrying feet we would occasionally hear above our 4,000 sq. ft. home of Caregiving World, belonged to two squirrels. And it would seem, those fuzzy tailed little creatures enjoy snacking on more than just nuts. Yes, at CGW, we learned that our four-legged, upstairs neighbors also enjoy the taste of low-voltage, coax cable that carries our cable internet signal into our building. They have been safely and humanely removed, cable patched, and they were sent on their way with a few bits of sweet potato and our personal gratitude that their diet did not include -- at least this time -- high voltage power cables. Like I said, no animals were harmed as part of this true story :)

You know, sometimes problems are high-tech, sometimes low-tech.... and sometimes, well, "no-tech" at all. So my sincere apologies for our sparse "reach out" efforts of late, but we have solved a most odd and perplexing Internet connection issue which lead to fewer updates!

Wow... it is amazing how wonderful shows can be to tape... and we have taped several to "air" on Caregiving World...
Editing makes them all the better...
Just very time consuming, of course, to get them just the way I feel they should be :)
Comes from working for PBS Member Stations and Programs for so many years... My standards of my work and that of others is high... as it should be
But I think I must find a happy medium.... the best, most accurate, helpful information that journalistic minds can share... Perhaps I may not need all the whiz bang effects immediately

Oh yes, and a Super Duper Thank You to all who saw my wish for the new year regarding Caregiving World. I hope to have our page reach 100 followers... when I posted my quest for followers... we need just 12 to make 100. I am honored that you all felt the symbolic gesture with me... and grateful that you helped all of us at Caregiving World surpass our goal of "Followers" by 4! We stand at 104 followers... Thank you.

I want send out a very special THANK YOU to my friend Tate, who I have know -- I believe we figured out -- since the second grade. Only a friend of that long would have stayed at our soundstage as long as he did yesterday helping with everything from loading new software, to assembling a teleprompter, dealing with that software, and many other very helpful things. Thank you my friend... and you know, you're welcome back any time, hint, hint! :)

Hello all, it's Scott Hileman and I want to thank those who saw our goal of 100 followers before the New Year launch. We have grown by 3 which leaves only 9 more followers to go reach our goal. Sounds quite a bit like a PBS or NPR pledge drive speech... Did I ever mention I used to host those on the air many years ago for PBS member stations? I think I can still remember all the phone numbers that we had to say over and over. Again, thank you!!!!
