Hi! Greetings from your local hygiene collector, Kellee. 😎

I have been MIA with posting on social media but let me tell you, I am still very much active behind the scenes! We are constantly meeting up with people in need, dropping off donations or organizing them from beautiful humans who want to help, and collecting donations all of the time!! I just wanted to send out major thank yous to all who stay engaged within the community as well as in my inbox seeking out new ways to help.

Since HSP has partnered with a local church who provides the same products, my next to-do is to reach out to our local libraries. 🎉 They already help out in SO many other ways; I thought this might be a way to help them help others!!

Anyways, I just wanted to touch base with everyone and let you know PDP is still going strong.

Check out this awesome article done by Carroll County Times discussing the issue of period poverty and many of the local agencies helping to tackle it, including PDP!!

Westminster's Kellee Schleicher started the community aid organization Providing Dignity, Period in 2020 to help people who struggle to afford menstrual products.

We’re so excited that our donation spot at Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc. is getting some use! All of the hygiene kits have been distributed and other have been able to make their own with the individual items.

We made a stop today to drop off what we could - some more dental hygiene items, pads, period underwear, and body wipes! Stop by if you or someone you know is in need. As more donations come in (THANK YOU, thank you, THANK YOU) we will deliver more grab and go hygiene kits. You all are amazing. Thanks for all you do to help the community. 💗 I love where we live.
