From all of us on the WPF Board - We had a fabulous first 5k yesterday!

Thankful to those of you who volunteered to help, our officers who did a fabulous job with the road closures, fire and ems for being on site, Bruce with Upstate Race Series, all our sponsors, and so many more! We still have some sponsors to shout out so stay tuned for those.

Race Day: May 16, 2026

Race Start Time: fun run 8:00am 5k 8:30am

Race Start/Finish: Main Street/Alley St



PACKET PICK-UP DETAILS

Packet pickup:
Friday, May 15 from 3-7pm at the Westminster Police Department
Saturday morning in the Depot Parking Lot from 7:00-8:00 AM.
You can pick up someone else's bib for them, just have their name listed on the registration.

PARKING

Yes, Main Street is having a much needed face-lift! As a result, race-day parking can be found at Westminster Baptist Church (212 E Windsor St, Westminster, SC 29693) and the Westminster Police Department. You can also park along Windsor Street in street parking. We ask that you not try to park anywhere on Main Street, as we are limiting parking in the depot parking lot to vendors, and we are reducing traffic on Main Street due to the race. If you live close enough to take a warm-up walk downtown, we encourage you to do that!

RACE-DAY LOGISTICS

We will have first responders and law enforcement officers at each turn to direct runners. There are also mile markers in white spray paint along the road.

Post-Race party: Stick around after the race for some food and fun with fellow participants and spectators and visit our businesses on Main Street! We will offer a food truck and other vendors, and some fun post-race fuel!

Pets and Strollers: For your safety and the safety of other participants, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home. However, your children in strollers are welcome!

Cheer Zones: Have friends or family that want to come support you? We encourage that! Some great spots to have them cheering are: anywhere on Main Street between the Depot Parking lot and Blue Ridge Bank, the block of North Avenue between the Library and the Park, Westminster Presbyterian Church, along Westminster Highway on the side of the road opposite the middle school, and Bountyland Gas Station on Westminster Highway! Those areas will be closed to thru traffic during the 5K, so we encourage spectators to get to their spots early and hang around until Captain Lunz comes through at the end!
