Another wonderful weekend of Scout camp is in the books. We had 18 awesome Scouts join us for an Advancement Camp! Plenty of rank advancement, skill sharpening, and fun was had! Our scouts had an amazing time while they spent the day working on their Scout skills, and wrapped it up with campfire that included a flag retirement ceremony.

Join us in May for our LAST monthly campout, Shooting Sports at WWCCA!

Troop 1539 Winter Sports Campout - great weekend of skiing, waterpark and other winter activities at Boyne Mountain. It was very cold but the sun was shining and we were at Scout camp - what could be better. The food was delicious, the accommodations were AMAZING, the skiing was exhilarating and the trivia games were some of the most competitive ever. It was a great weekend and we can’t wait for our next trip where we get to crawl in mud and sleep in a cave. Are you READY?

What a chilly weekend for camp! We spent the weekend in the Yurts at D-Bar-A, enjoying the weather (and mostly our time around the fire). Breakfast was eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast! Lunch was some phenomenal grilled cheese and soup. Dinner was chickens tacos (on display by Kincaid). We went on a 3.5mi hike, had a snowball fight, and played some extreme hide and seek. You missed out if you weren’t here!

Another AMAZING weekend with Troop 1539! We spent our chilly time at Pioneer Scout Reservation, playing some board games and eating some good food! We had breakfast burritos, chicken croissant sandwiches, and bacon wrapped crescent dogs! Scouts went sledding, played football, and enjoyed so many different games. We’ve capped off the night with some Trivial Pursuit (DOMINATED by the adult leaders) and some fried Oreos.

If you missed us this campout, we missed you! See you in January at the D-Bar-A Yurts!

Another great weekend in the books for Troop 1539! We had a great time practicing First Aid, playing some football and gaga ball, having a marshmallow war, and ending Saturday with some great dutch oven meals and desserts! We made sure to spend some time singing songs and having fellowship. Oh, and that last photo…IYKYK.
