Families in Westlake can enjoy pancakes with Santa on December 7th at the Managan Center, with festive fun, photo opportunities, and support for local families in need.

Alert! What is needed? Hams/turkeys are our biggest need at the moment- along with mac and cheese! Will update as we go! The monetary donations we receive enable us to get just what we need as we need it!

Its time! Santa Shuffle 14 has kicked off! Just like Turkey Trot, SS provides the ingredients for a holiday meal PLUS toys and small gifts for the child fighting cancer and ALL schoolage siblings in the home! It’s like Turkey Trot and Bunny Bop on steroids, y’all! This mission blesses area children actively fighting cancer and others as donations allow!

We have a great start for the food baskets with the donations from Turkey Trot- but as of now we are out of bags of rice and mac and cheese. We also need hams/turkeys!

The Blue Wagon is in place at Santa’s Workshop aka Nurse K/Roomie’s House- 2109 Oak Forest in WL, La 70669. You can leave donations on the porch, in the wagon, or on the carport if it’s opened! That’s Roomie’s dept and she does a great job monitoring the donations!

If the carport is open you can put meats directly into 1 of the chest freezers- they are both currently empty! We do have a stash at The Zachary’s in Sulphur but we need more!

We will post the Amazon WishList for foods and gifts- that’s Kimmie’s dept!

BB does have security in place, y’all, and we appreciate the TeacherVille Neighborhood Watch headed by Cameron Meche and sidekick Gabe Reppond! They work hard to protect Roomie and Lolly’s house!

Our Head Organizer Kristy Hutchison Marcantel has done an outstanding job this holiday and we appreciate it so much.
