💙🧡Thank you to the 2025/26 WLE PFA Board for all of your dedication and hard work this year. We’ve had tremendous success - raising crucial funds to continue important programs, and hosting amazing school events that boost connection and school spirit. We’re grateful to each of you for your efforts to better WLE and for all of the memories made.

The PFA is a Non-Profit organization, with processes, financials, insurances and so much more. Thank you for taking care of all of the behind-the-scenes stuff. Now it’s time to relax and enjoy the summer break! 🧡💙

Today was our final PFA sponsored school assembly of the year - the epic SK8 4 LIFE skateboarding assembly focused on health and wellness. 🛹 SK8 4 LIFE discussed healthy habits, goal setting, and perseverance, all while reminding students that mistakes are okay and to never give up!

We would also like to acknowledge Dannii Dennison for her years of dedication and hard work. You’ve spent years making WLE a better place, brought new ideas to the table, and volunteered hours of your time to the betterment of our school. You have been on the PFA for 5 years as our marketing specialist, Co-President, and Parliamentarian, all while helping chair events, galas, culminations, numerous auctions, and the complete overhaul of our amazing Makerspace lab. You have brought so much positive change to our school that will impact generations of students and families to come. Thank you for your steady, calm leadership through the years. We will miss you, but wish you well as you embark on new adventures.

We would like to thank and acknowledge Diane Shap after her years of dedication to our school through volunteering as a room parent, being the popsicle chair, and finally as a PFA board member. Your calm, steady presence has made an impact on WLE that will not be forgotten. You have volunteered at nearly every single PFA event of the school year, and are the familiar face that we can all rely on. Thank you for your hard work, positive presence, and quiet strength and leadership. You will be greatly missed! Best of luck as you and your family move on to secondary school.

Thank you to Katie Wilkes for organizing some amazing assemblies for WLE this year in addition to being a District Advisory Council rep for our school! The assemblies you plan are the kind of events that the kids go home raving about. Whether it was an author visit, laser assembly, YoYo demonstration that discussed SEL concepts like resiliency, or a cool skateboarding assembly- you knocked it out of the park! Thank you for making Westlake Elementary a cool and fun place to be!

Thank you for the organization and management of sales, order distributions, and communications with our awesome partner, SpiritHero. Working with you is a breeze. Thank you so much to Jenny Relethford and Christianne Winthrop for organizing this year’s Family Fun Nights AND Staff Appreciation efforts! You are the real MVPs. You helped plan some amazing appreciation events for our school community to come together and spoil our incredible teachers and staff each month through staff lounge restocks and catered events, prize raffles, and more!

And from kebabs to poke, your hard work planning FFNs raised critical funds that directly impacted the teaching staff’s ability to replenish much-needed classroom supplies. We loved trying the new spots and enjoying a meal with friends at some of our returning restaurant partners. You two gave us all a chance to show kindness and to build a sense of community.
