It’s Foster Friday, and we are still looking for Foster Homes! Be the loving and stable home for a bunny to land while finding their furever home.

We have asked a few foster parents why they foster. RRR Director, Tanya Tisdale said:

“I always enjoyed seeing all the different personalities of bunnies. As we all know everybun is different. When you get to foster a bun from the worst case and see how much they change/get healthy and happy, is very rewarding!”

Meet Oliver!

Oliver is an approximately 5 years old, 5.5 lbs, very friendly and curious bunny🧐🐰. He loves attention (as long as it is on his terms 🤭). He enjoys playing with toys 🧸 and puzzles 🧩 and hiding in his tube!

Mr. Oliver is quite the spy 🕵️‍♂️, often standing up looking around his environment. He loves to give nose boops and will eat like there is no tomorrow.

He is a dominant bunny, but is friendly with dogs 🐶 and cats🐱! He may do well with a bond-mate as long as he is the boss!

Happy Foster Friday, from our previous Foster, Nunu!

Fostering is great for some many reasons- here are a handful:
1. You get to play matchmaker! 👫 As the foster pawrent, you’ll get to see a bunny’s personality begin to bloom in your home! Because of this, we take you as the expert on the bunny and you can help us find the right fit for their forever home!
2. You can enjoy the companionship of a bunny without the stress of Veterinary bills 👩‍⚕️💸. Need we say more?
3. You can practice the art of “living in the moment”. Sometimes the idea of fostering scares people off. They’re worried that they’ll become too attached. But you’re giving the bunny such a special gift! You are their safe landing space for here and now, until they find their forever home. Fostering is a great way to practice living in the moment! 🧘‍♀️ 🌿✨also we will NEVER look down at a “foster fail” they’re “foster wins!”

Most importantly: You’re providing a bunny in need with a safe space to live while they are looking for their forever family! 🏡🐰💞

Chippy takes football 🏈 and food very seriously!

Chippy is a a gorgeous, velvety-soft Standard Rex female bunny 🐇searching for her ultimate forever castle 🏰. If you’re looking for a sweet, interactive, and wonderfully well-behaved companion, she’s your girl 💗!

Chippy appreciates the finer things in life—delicious food 🥬, fun toys, and plenty of opportunities to redecorate! She loves diving into a fresh plate of salad and happily munching on crunchy.

When she’s not busy snacking, you can usually find her remodeling her space. She’s a big fan of toys: especially crunchy willow balls and apple sticks 🍎🍏!

Introducing Juniper & Chive!

These two sweet sisters are looking for their forever home!

Juniper and Chive are gentle, bonded girls who come from a loving family environment and are already comfortable living with older children. Once they settle in, they show excellent litter box habits and begin to relax into their routine.

They’re still getting used to their foster home, but they’ve started coming over for treats 🍎🥬and are learning that humans bring good things. Both girls are shy at first, yet they’re opening up beautifully and enjoy gentle pats once they feel safe. Chive is the more confident and dominant of the pair, while Juniper is a bit more timid and often follows her sister’s lead.

These sweet sisters adore their pellets and hay, and with patience and kindness, they’ll continue blossoming into affectionate, trusting companions.

Aurora is a 4.5 year old Netherland Dwarf looking for her forever family. This little girl (only 3lbs!) did wonderful during her grooming session, and even decided to try out some accessories 🎀 💅💖! Of course- she may have tried out some of the accessories due to a little treat bribe or two🤭.

Aurora is a social butterfly 🦋 and loves to hang out with her human friends! Besides socializing and treats, Aurora loves playtime! Her current favorite toy is her cardboard castle ✨🏰 ✨which makes her feel like the adorable princess she is!
