🍽️ Lunch & Learn Highlights: Staying Safe from Scams

On Friday, March 20, about two dozen residents joined the LWV at the Cameron Senior Center for an informative Lunch & Learn focused on identity theft and scams.

Detective Ian McEnaney of the Westford Police Department, the department’s Family and Elder Services Detective, led a helpful session on how scammers operate—and how to protect yourself. The event was organized in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Westford and the Senior Center.

As part of the discussion, Det. McEnaney shared a timely report on Bitcoin ATMs and their role in scams—especially relevant with Article 21 on the upcoming Annual Town Meeting warrant.

Note: The League of Women Voters of Westford does not take a position on Article 21 but shares this report as an educational resource on the issues surrounding the proposed bylaw.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success!
