Westford Friends of the Poor Walk The Westford Friends of the Poor Walk is an annual 5K walk to raise funds for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Funds will be used to help those in need.

On Friday, November 10, 2017 we will be hosting the eighth annual Friends of the Poor Walk. This is a 5K fundraising walk to benefit the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Westford whose mission is to provide person to person services to those in need. The society’s mission is to offer short term emergency financial needs in the following ways: emergency financial assistance, rent/mortgage assistanc

e, meals, transportation, home repair, disaster relief and visitation services. Since its formation over seven years ago, the Saint Vincent DePaul Society has provided more than $600,000 in financial assistance to those in need. Anyone in the Westford community is eligible for assistance. The Friends of the Poor® Walk/Run is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National
Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
