Hi everyone! I'll be building three of these archery target stands for my Eagle Project.

I am a 16-year-old junior at Westford Academy. I am working on my Eagle Scout Project for Troop 195 of Westford, MA. For my project, I will build archery target stands for my local Recreation Department. The Recreation Department played a big role in my childhood, so I decided to give back to them. These stands will serve approximately 200 children per year and are designed to last 20 years. When I was a child at their summer camps I loved the archery programs and I hope that other children get a chance to try this sport.

My fundraising goal is $1,000 by the end of July so that I can begin building in August.

In my troop, I am currently the Troop Guide. I work with the younger scouts as they transition into Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts. I have also served as the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Historian. I received leadership training at both National Youth Leadership Training and Brownsea

In addition to Scouting, I play baseball and flag football, and I enjoy skiing in the winter. I also work at the after-school program. I spent the last two years as a writer and editor for my school newspaper, the Ghostwriter. In my free time, I enjoy reading, skateboarding, riding my bike, and playing ukulele and electric guitar. I love traveling around the country to National Parks with my family.
