We're excited to help support the City of Westfield - Government Brave the Barricades campaign🚧
Many of our local restaurants, shops, and more are being impacted by construction, and we want to uplift our businesses! Check out their recent post for all campaign information with how you can get involved as a business or a participant!
As construction progresses on State Road 32, the City of Westfield is launching the Brave the Barricades campaign to encourage residents and visitors to support local businesses. The campaign offers incentives to keep the community engaged, despite the ongoing construction challenges.
The first phase of the Brave the Barricades campaign invites everyone to take the pledge to support local businesses. By signing up for email updates about the construction project, participants will not only stay informed but will also be entered to win weekly gift cards from a wide array of local businesses. There are also graphics to share on participant’s social media accounts. Each week, multiple gift cards will be given away, offering a chance to experience the best of Westfield while helping to keep small businesses busy and vibrant during this time of change.
Pick up a stamp card at a participating location listed below. Customers will receive a stamp for every purchase made at their location. After collecting five stamps, participants will be entered to win a gift basket valued at more than $250. The more businesses a participant visits, the more stamps they can collect, and the greater their chances of winning. Participating businesses currently include:

“While the State Road 32 construction project may cause some short-term disruptions, the Brave the Barricades campaign is designed to turn those challenges into opportunities,” stated Mayor Scott Willis. “The goal is to maintain strong traffic for local businesses—whether it’s through a quick coffee stop, a delicious meal, or shopping for a unique gift. We know that our residents will rally for our local businesses.”
This campaign aims to keep customers engaged and excited, ensuring that Westfield’s businesses remain vibrant and ready for the post-construction future. The Brave the Barricades campaign will begin the week of April 14 and run through the duration of the construction project. With each phase, Westfield residents will have new ways to engage and support local businesses.
