Congratulations Bob, this is terrific news!

A proposed juice-packing facility in Westfield that would produce pouches for children and adults is looking to start this fall. County officials are excited that this could help grape farmers who lost their contract with Refresco. On Tuesday, Robert Patterson with WMC Grape Juice, LLC, appeared at the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency meeting to apply for a $200,000 loan, which was unanimously approved.

TOMORROW IS FARM DAY!

Looking for a fun family event this weekend? Look no further! We invite you and the whole crew to come out and celebrate our local roots.

Here is everything you need to know so you don’t miss a single moment of the fun:

The Schedule
11:00 AM: The Tractor Parade kicks off! The parade will start at 7505 E Route 20 and make its way through Westfield and over to the Grape Discovery Center.

1:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Keep the party going with live music at the Grape Discovery Center!

Food & Drink
Come hungry! Delicious food and refreshing beverages will be available for purchase at the event. Plus, just down the road we will be open for the family to relax, unwind, and enjoy the day.

Featured Tractor Spotlight
You won't want to miss a piece of living history rolling through town. Fred Johnson will be driving his grandfather’s 1948 Farmall! This incredible tractor has lived and worked on the farm for generations. It was recently restored to its former glory, having previously been outfitted with a mower deck and, most recently, a sickle bar for trimming grape rows.

📍 Where: Grape Discovery Center. Plus, stop by Johnson Estate right down the road!

WESTFIELD — Grape Discovery Center and Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association are pleased to host the first Farm Day Event from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026.

This family fun event is Free to the public.

A Farm Day-Vintage Tractor Parade will begin at Westfield Maid Co-Op, 7505 Route 20 East and end at Grape Discovery Center 8305 W. Main.

Celebrating the farming community with a Farm Day event at Grape Discovery Center. Vintage farm tractors will be on display all day. Live music provided by The Patti Parks Band from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tree Family Piggie Party will be on hand from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. with live piggie tricks.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Grape Discovery Center (Concord Grape Belt Heritage Association) is a non-profit and relies on members, donations and sponsors.
