✅ An enhanced experience for residents & visitors
✅ New opportunities for artists, performers, & support staff
✅ A cemented position for Westfield as a regional destination for creativity and culture
✅ Increased visitation and foot traffic & greater support for local businesses

Many students in Westfield and nearby towns are looking for a place to explore their interests outside the classroom. The Rialto Center for Creativity will provide that “third space” beyond school and home, giving students the opportunity to experiment with different art forms and learn new skills.

They will be able to connect with peers who share similar interests, enjoy the cafe, and participate in offerings like workshops, open mic nights, film screenings, volunteer opportunities, and more. Ultimately, the Rialto Center for Creativity will give young creatives somewhere to build confidence and experience creativity in new ways.

Our April Spotlight Series featuring DJ Dave was a standout night. Attendees saw her build music live through code and got a close look at a performance style that’s pushing boundaries in real time, and everyone left with a new perspective on what live music can be.
