MTB has received a $1,000 community service grant award from the The Westfield Rotary Club Foundation. The Westfield Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, which is a worldwide humanitarian organization that seeks to do good in the world.

"More than Bootstraps is the type of visionary group that Westfield Rotary wants to assist," Club President Jim Hely said. This is the sixth award MTB has received from the Rotary Club of Westfield.

“We are grateful to the Rotary Club for recognizing how difficult it is for first-generation college students to pull themselves up by their bootstraps in getting to and succeeding in the complex American higher education environment,” said Audrey Fisch, president of More Than Bootstraps. “This grant from the Rotary Club enables our students to empower each other to succeed.”

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we surpassed our Back to School Fundraiser goal and raised more than $2,027 to support our 23 High School Fellows and four College Student Leaders in the Class of 2027.

Your contribution helps first-generation students start the year with the resources, encouragement, and mentorship they need to thrive.

We couldn't do it without your support, so thank you!

And there's still time to add to our final tally, so don't be shy!
