The Masquerade Gala flyer has been updated with key details, including the schedule and half-price tickets for students with a valid school ID. Please review the updated flyer and note the ticket payment deadline of Friday, October 9th, so we can finalize the meal headcount.

You’re Invited to the Masquerade Gala!

Join us for a fun night of dinner, dancing, and celebration to support a great cause!

The Ohio School for the Deaf Foundation (OSDF) and the Ohio Deaf Association (ODA) are hosting a Masquerade Gala on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Association Community Center for $60 per person. The deadline is Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event will open at 5 p.m.

There will be a cash bar.

Why your support matters:
OSDF raises funds to provide programs, activities, scholarships, and resources that enhance the education of Ohio School for the Deaf students.
ODA raises funds to support deaf and hard-of-hearing and KODA (Kids of Deaf Adults) youth campers.

It’s going to be a wonderful evening of fun, friends, food, and giving back to our Deaf community.

Recent Fall Festival on September 13th, Rolland Doudt had the privilege of taking some photos at CC campus to share with you all.

While brief stop at the Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Association lounge (waiting room), a fantastic pencil drawing art hanging above the fireplace caught Rolland's Historian Eye attention. As a historian, Rolland took a photo and decided to do some research on it.

Before we reveal the artist behind this portrait of a notable Deaf leader, here is a quick hint: he is one of the founders who, along with two other Deaf advocates, purchased the farmland that grew into the Columbus Colony we know today.
