Westerville MOMCo meets the first and third Thursdays of the month, September- May from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Heritage Christian Church 7413 Maxtown Rd, Westerville, OH 43082. MOMCo is for moms with children from newborn to 18 years old and include empty nesters or mothers with older children who want to serve as mentors. We are a community for mothers to connect, share experiences, and support one
another. This is where conversations birth relationships and friendships centered on shared parenting, self-care, marriage, Moms Night Outs, crafting, work-life balance questions, and so much more! We are a down to Earth group of ladies who will welcome you however you became a mom, or wherever you are in your mothering journey. Our group has working moms, stay at home moms, adoptive moms, step-moms, grandmas, seasoned and new moms, and lots of tired moms who just love to take a break, connect, and learn with (and from) one another. This is a place to vent, cry, seek advice and have some fun. Take a moment to laugh, share those embarrassing stories and sometimes even -- shock, horror -- do something that's not about the kids. We plan a variety of opportunities to connect at meetings and outside of them. All members are welcome to suggest events and share with the group. We've hosted play dates, coffee & movie meetups, outings with other moms or our entire families to concerts, festivals, ball games, family picnics, and so much more. That sense of isolation is something many mothers feel but often hesitate to voice. One of the most powerful benefits of joining a mom group is the chance to connect with others who are going through the same life stage or have been through it already. We also try to give back, as well, through service to one another and our community. We have worked with many area ministries and organizations to support the homeless, children in foster care, moms in our own group, our area schools and ministries, and more. We have worked with organizations such as My Very Own Blanket, the Ronald McDonald House, Lifeline Ministries, area clothing closets, Operation Christmas Child, and many others. Please feel free to reach out and let us know if you have any questions. We would love to have you, so come join us! (PS - did we mention that we always have snacks and coffee?)
