Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Remembers 9/11
Today, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness demonstrated in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, members of our Armed Forces, and countless ordinary citizens who answered an extraordinary call to serve others.

We also remember the families whose lives were forever changed and the generations of Americans who have carried forward the memory and legacy of September 11.

Twenty-five years later, we remain committed to never forgetting not only the tragedy of that day, but the courage, unity, service, and humanity that emerged in its aftermath.

As Men of Sigma, grounded in the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service, we join our nation and communities around the world in reflection and remembrance.

We remember the lives.
We honor the sacrifice.
We salute those who served.
We will never forget.

Celebrating Labor Day with
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Today, we honor the generations of workers, labor organizers, and social justice advocates whose courage helped transform the American workplace and expand opportunity for working families.

Among them stands Sigma Man Bro. A. Philip Randolph, a pioneering labor leader and civil rights revolutionary who understood that the fight for racial justice was inseparable from the fight for economic justice. Through organizing, coalition building, and persistent advocacy, Brother Randolph helped demonstrate the power working people possess when they stand together.

His legacy reminds us that many of the workplace protections and opportunities we recognize today were not simply given, they were organized for, marched for, negotiated for, and won through collective action.

This Labor Day, Phi Beta Sigma celebrates labor unions, working people, organizers, and revolutionaries who continue the work of building a more equitable future.

The work continues. The legacy lives on.
