International Sports Film Festival at Otterbein The next ISFFO will take place at Otterbein University from March 23-26, 2026. Location: Roush Hall, Room 114 They will make you wonder: Why do we play?

We are excited to announce that the International Sports Film Festival of Ohio will be the latest sporting event to call the Buckeye State home. Inspired by sports film festivals in Toronto and Amsterdam, the Ohio festival asks you to see sports differently. The International Sports Film Festival of Ohio (ISFFO) will makes its debut this spring from March 3 to April 7. The festival includes films,

speakers, and events that will raise important questions about the boundaries around gender, religion, and race that can separate us inside of sport and out. Simultaneously, the festival reveals a unifying desire to be courageous, to compete, to prevail, and to ultimately come together. ISFFO aspires to generate conversations and examine the power of sports to break down social barriers, connect communities, and inspire hope. The films in this festival will leave you inspired to move, grow, and connect with others through sports and play. Who can we inspire? They are complex and, at times, contradictory. They ask you to dig deeper, to look further, to find the courage to see sports differently.

We are so excited to officially announce our first event of ISFFO 2026 is Otterbein’s own Birds Eye View podcast!

Birds Eye View will be in Roush 114 Monday the 23rd @ 7 pm. They will be doing their podcast live! They will also be joined by two very special guests…🥁🥁🥁

In need of an INST event? Enjoy sports and the sports atmosphere? Well our free event showing the movie “Bend It Like Beckham” is tonight! Put on by some of your fellow Otterbein peers, athletes, and students. Join us at 7PM in Roush Hall as we follow Jess Bhamra, a British-Indian teenager who pursues her dreams of playing soccer against her family’s wishes all while facing some cultural clashes.
