Calling all Westerville Arrow of Light Scouts!

We would like to extend an invitation to the Arrow of Light Scouts of Westerville area Packs to visit Scouts BSA Troop 247 for boys! Den Leaders and Parents are also welcome to socialize with our Adults as the Scouts have fun.

Troop Outdoor Activity November 15, 2025

Troop 247 will hold an outdoor activity on Saturday, November 15, 2025, 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Camp Lazarus in the West Activity Field. Our Scouts have prepared a fun day of round robin stations highlighting Scout skills and fun games. Your Scouts and Adults are welcome to join us for lunch. Please RSVP to [email protected] with a headcount by Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Troop Meeting November 19, 2025

Join our Troop meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm, at WCUCC, 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, OH 43081. The meeting theme is Scout Skills and Games. This is an amazing personal achievement. This is also a milestone for our Troop as he has earned the honor and distinction of being the first Troop 247 Eagle Scout.

Troop Open House September 28 -

Scouts will host several activities, including coding, knots, team building, and flag etiquette on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm at Westerville Community United Church of Christ, 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, OH 43081.

Monster Mash October 15 -

Save the date! Scouts will host a day of food and Scouts Skills during the Simon Kenton Council Monster Mash weekend on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Camp Lazarus. More details will be shared soon.

Troop Open House December 7 -

This is our popular STEM-themed coding meeting on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm at Westerville Community United Church of Christ, 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, OH 43081. We will have several computers and hardware development boards ready for Scouts to have fun or compete for the coveted Scoutmaster award for the most creative application that evening.

We would like to extend an invitation to all Cub Scout Webelos to visit Scouts BSA Troop 247 for boys! Our Scouts will be hosting a day of Scout skills, games, team building, and more at Monster Mash on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Camp Lazarus. Den Leaders and Parents are also welcome to come socialize with our Adults as the Scouts have fun. Lunch will be provided to all Scouts and Adults who attend, so please RSVP, indicating any dietary restrictions, by Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 5:30pm.

And just like that, with the conclusion of the Cub Scout crossover season, we are 12 Scouts strong! We are excited to see how the Scouts grow and develop Troop 247.
