Was at the Asian Festival this past weekend! Great job by the organizers despite the rain! The BEST part we met a former foster youth who received a blanket from us! She is so grateful for the love it brought her and asked to get involved more with MVOB now as an adult! šŸ’ššŸ’™

At the Ohio Childrenā€™s Alliance Conference šŸ¤

Surrounded by incredible agencies dedicated to supporting youth in careā€”and we were honored to be part of it. We handed out blankets and quilts to bring a little comfort, while also raising awareness for the important work being done every day to keep these kids safe.

You hear Adam Price before you see him, not because heā€™s loud, but because heā€™s present.

His path wasnā€™t linear. He tried college, EMT work, and spent 10 years in dialysis before eventually switching to real estate full time. Through it all, he kept coming back to one thing: helping people in a way that felt real.

Then one phone call changed everything.
Seven days later, he became a dad.

Two months after that, he made a blanket at a volunteer event and never stopped showing up.

Now heā€™s Board Chair of My Very Own Blanket, focused on building something bigger than any one person.

ā€œI donā€™t want to be the hero. I want my blanket to be the hero.ā€

50 volunteers. 50 blankets. Countless moments of comfort. šŸ’™

At the UPS Inclusion & Belonging Summit, an annual event celebrating and recognizing UPS Business Resource Groups across Ohio and Michigan, this yearā€™s community impact initiative supported My Very Own Blanket.

Weā€™re so grateful to everyone who came together to create 50 handmade blankets, each one crafted with care, compassion, and purpose. These blankets will bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of security to children who need it most.

This is what inclusion and belonging looks like in action: showing up for others and making a meaningful difference, together.
