Greetings Neighbors,
I hope the holiday season was enjoyable for everyone. If you are not aware, I have created a group on Facebook for the residents of the HOA. If anyone wishes to be added to the group, visit the HOA page and under ‘Groups’ select “join”.
Please do not forget your HOA annual fees are due by February 15, 2018.
The board is in need of an additional member for the remainder of the current term. I unfortunately will be stepping down from the position of president within the next few weeks. My family and I have made the decision to move and have purchased several acres of land in the Galena area. Although this was a tough decision to make, we found our dream property and could not pass up the opportunity. According to the by-laws, a replacement member can be appointed for the remainder of the term, so a meeting and election will not be required. However, we will need someone willing to help out for the remainder of the term. The position of a board member does not require a lot of time. Having a third member is required, otherwise John and Sue may have to make the tough decision to hire a third party company to manage the HOA. This could increase the annual dues to offset the cost of a management company. If there is anyone interested in helping John and Sue, please reach out to any one of us.
I have enjoyed serving as your president for the past seven months and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

GEMINI PARKWAY ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Per ODOT, the Gemini Parkway Extension will open on Thursday, October 13. Worthington Rd. between Polaris Parkway and E. Powell Rd. will close for 2 months to construct the new Worthington/Gemini intersection.

Halloween is right around the corner. Many residents are curious when Trick-or-Treating will be this year. The township has set Monday, October 31 (Halloween) from 6-8 pm as the suggested time for our little ghouls and goblins to get their fill.

Hey neighbors. I saw this old guy savaging for food on Adcock and Bromfield this evening. He seems timid and unaccustomed to being away from home. If you know him or his owners, he was last seen in the cul de sac of Bromfield about 8:15.

The neighborhood garage sale is now set for June 10-11. This is in coordination with an number of other neighborhoods in Genoa Township.

The HOA annual meeting is set for June 29 at 7:30 pm. Additional information about location and agenda will be distributed to the HOA distribution list. Message the HOA for additional information.
