WASA could never be successful without the amazing volunteer coaches we have across the leagues. They are never only doing one job. We thank them for volunteering their time and developing amazing players.

There are not many fall soccer Saturdays left, and man are we going to miss them.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Judy Lee Queen.

Judy was a very important person in the development of soccer in Westerville and the surrounding areas. She as on the COSA board and managed the Oak Creek Indoor Soccer on Schrock for many years.

WASA passes on our condolences to her family.

We spend a lot of time preparing our players for what happens on the soccer field. But are we prepared for an emergency?

Here is a recent story from 10TV about a Bexley rec soccer player who suffered a cardiac arrest and teammates who used an AED to save his life.

At WASA, the safety of our players, coaches, families and spectators is always a priority. We have an AED located at every location we play at thanks to the City of Westerville. This is a great reminder to know where they are located incase of an emergency.

David Jablonski's life was saved by quick-thinking teammates and an AED after collapsing during a soccer game.
