"Cancer almost took fatherhood away from me. At age 26, I needed to act, and act fast to preserve the hope to some day become a father. I had to do this when it was pretty much the last thing on my mind, because I was focused on doing everything I could to survive. I was fortunate to have wonderful doctors, nurses, and a supportive wife who all helped me fight for the chance to become a father after cancer.
On this Father's Day, we want to celebrate the dads, but we also want to celebrate the people who work tirelessly to help more men become dads. Because becoming a dad after cancer is Worth the Wait." - Mike Scherer, Worth the Wait Co-Founder
