is your link to native plants and seeds for restorations and landscapes. Our native plants and seed are grown from locally collected and genetically adapted seed from Nebraska and surrounding states. Using seed and plants that have adapted to local conditions reduces the need for water and fertilizer. We currently have over 150 species of prairie grasses and wildflowers, as well as trees. We are c

onstantly wild collecting new species! Additionally, the Prairie Legacy team provides botanical consulting. We have over 50 years combined experience in ecological surveys including wetland delineations and endangered species surveys. We can often be found at Witt's End, the family farm which was settled by our ancestors and where we now have our production plots, greenhouse, shade house and seed cleaning center. We work to protect and restore the remnant prairie and woodland that are also on Witt’s End and to pass on the passion for preservation of small family farms and our tallgrass prairie legacy.
