TRTumbling into fun with Mrs. Reynolds! Rising 3rd grader Rowan Stack and her friend Avery got to flip, twist and cartwheel with SJC parent and Pre-K 4 Aide Lauren Reynolds - who just so happens to be a former D1 college gymnast.

This special gymnastics experience was part of the TRT auction in the spring. Thank you to Mrs. Reynolds for donating such a creative, fun auction prize and big thanks to the Stack family for your generous support of SJC teachers and staff.

The torch was lit, the brews were cold and the competition was fierce. The inaugural Dad's Beer Olympics Sign Up Party was a night of friendly rivalry, epic games and podium-worthy moments. The best part? It was all for a good cause! Cheers to raising our cups and funds for SJC teachers and staff. Thanks again to all Olympians and to our incredible hosts: Al Taylor and Jeff Wendt, and shout out to Nora Taylor for her creativity (and patience)!

Toe-tally relaxed and ready for summer at the 3rd Grade Pedicure Sign Up Party! In addition to polished toes, these girls enjoyed crafts, refreshments and treats. What a fun way to kick off break! Special thanks to our party hosts: the Brondyke, Dollard, Havey and Pisarcik families.

Splish, splash ... the 2nd grade “Swimming & Pizza with Mrs. K” auction winners had a blast on Sunday. The winners and their friends learned valuable swimming skills with Mrs. Korzenecki, an avid swimmer. It was the perfect mix of learning and fun ... followed up by Zazzo’s Pizza to refuel. Special thanks to Mrs. K for an awesome kick off to summer!

Take me out to the ballgame … for a great cause! Huge thanks to the school families and friends who joined us at the Chicago Dogs Sign Up Party on Sunday. It was a fun-filled day at the ballpark in support of SJC’s amazing teachers and staff. Shout out to the Chicago Dogs staff for your incredible hospitality! And big thanks to our generous host families: Cox, Gerig, Hertko, Konstant, Nawrocki and Wichmanowski.

Taking the mound at the Chicago Dogs game on Sunday was SJC 1st grader Rocky Nau. He won this “first pitch” experience in the TRT auction. Way to go, Rocky! Thank you to the Nau family for your generous support and to the Chicago Dogs for a very special day at the ballpark.

Bump, set, spike it - that's the way we like it! These young athletes had a blast at recent Volleyball Clinic Sign Up Parties. SJC girls in 1st-6th grades learned fundamentals, advanced skills and the importance of teamwork. Special thanks to Coach Meg Gardner for hosting and to all participants for your generous support of TRT!

These lucky students won "Lunch with the Principal" in the TRT auction. It was all smiles (and fries!) for the Pisarcik girls as they ate in the Principal's office today. Thank you to Mrs. Martin for making them feel so special! 💚🤍

How's this for a Friday to remember? One lucky student (and her crew!) got picked up from school in a Cybertruck for an epic ice cream run --- her prize for winning the TRT's Sweepstakes! All proceeds from the Sweepstakes went to support our teachers and staff. Special thanks to Chrissy & George Thomas for making this legendary experience possible. Talk about a cool ending to the week!

When the lights go out, the party glows up! 7th graders celebrated the end of the school year with a GLOW themed Sign Up Party party. The night included a DJ, a photo booth, snacks, and lots of fun and dancing under the black lights. Thank you again to our awesome host families: Gocke, Hartman, Lopez and Merna.
