Community Garden members are selected by the Westerly Land Trust to help maintain the Main Street greenspace by growing food in one of the 5x5 plots available each season. While the space is not open to the public for gardening (or the harvesting), Community Garden members donate a portion of their yield weekly to the Johnnycake Center of Westerly to help alleviate hunger.
