She Lives Under a Pipe. She Lets You Pet Her. Vesper Deserves So Much Better. 💔

🚨 Rescue & Pledges Needed — New Haven, CT 🚨

Meet Vesper — a beautiful long haired black and white girl with stunning green eyes who has made her home underneath pipes outside a parking garage in New Haven. A kind worker noticed her, started feeding her regularly, and has slowly earned her trust. Vesper is shy with new people but incredibly friendly once she feels safe — she comes out to eat and allows petting from her advocate.

But where she is living is no place for a cat like Vesper. She is visibly dirty and unkempt. She appears to have an upper respiratory issue. She is too scared to leave the small area of pipe she hides in. And at night the area fills with drug activity making it genuinely dangerous for her.

She is not feral. She is not aggressive. She is just terrified of being outside and doing her best to survive until someone finds her.

Her advocate believes they may be able to get her into a carrier and is willing to help. They just need somewhere for Vesper to go.

Khloe has been with us for over a year now. We knew she might be a "lifer" when we took her in, but she really has come so far. She seeks out attention, loves walks, and is a great pack dog. She'll be going back to our vet next month for a sedated check-up and groom. We're happy that Khloe is so comfortable here, but we would be thrilled to find her a loving home. Her full bio is available on our website.
